Biography

I've always enjoyed the creative arts and after obtaining a B.Sc.Hons degree (2:1) in Industrial Economics, I took a year out to fulfill a passion and train as a Cordon Bleu chef which led to a further year of interesting opportunities with prestigious organisations before I settled into a more traditional graduate career in finance.  With 20 years of experience in finance it was a  supportive boss who gave me the opportunity to complete a part-time foundation course in Art & Design at University for the Creative Arts, which has led to Higher Education qualifications in Ceramics and Glass at University for the Creative Arts, Farnham.

My love of the creative arts has grown over recent years and now focuses predominantly on glass art. Although i'm still combining a love of glass fusing and ceramics with the family passion (some might say obsession) about alpacas. My other key interests (when i'm not relaxing with my family) are cookery, history and travel.

Currently I'm enjoying taking time to develop my creative skills and preferred style of glass art for my main work which will feature under RachelCraigGlass
